Old fim texture

I have decided to use an old film texture over some shots of the video. I was considering re-filming certain parts that looked a bit dull but tried this instead just to see whether it would improve them and I think it does. To get some audience feedback I simply asked a four people to watch parts of the video without the texture and then again, with the texture to see whether the response would in

To use over the shots, I have layered the image and lowered the opacity.

I have got a camera out so I can film again this afternoon, I have already edited the footage I filmed last week and will hopefully get todays footage edited together by the end of the week so I still have time to re-film if I choose to.

evaluating what I've done so far

I have filmed again using one of the college cameras. This meaning the quality of the footage is a lot better and I am now able to start editing the shots and putting them all together to create the video properly. I am behind in the project because afirst draft should have laready been uploaded onto my blog but I am willing to put a lot of effort in to try and get the video finished for the deadline which is February half term.

I have made a start on my ancillary texts which I will upload soon along with a first draft of the video.

I plan to film again on Wednesday afternoon, hopefully getting the outdoor shots done.
