2nd problem I have encountered

I planned on filming today (sunday 25th) but due to the rain this morning I have decided not too. I wanted the outdoor shots to look as bright as possible and if the ground has been rained on I think it will detract from this idea. The ideology of the outdoor shots was to capture a dry and fairly sunny/bright day so that it will sync with the emotions shown by the actor and the song at each point of film.  I will film at the next opportunity I get.

I'm still unable to shoot the indoor locations as well because the two/three that I wanted to film are still being re-decorated and I can't get to the house to shoot. The next chance I'll get to film when Amelia is free and the locations are finished is Wednesday afternoon. I have booked the afternoon off work soI can spend as long as I need to getting all the filming done so I can spend the rest of the week editing.

Costume

These are the two outfits Amelia will be wearing during the filming. The shirt on the right will be worn in the outdoor shots and the outfit on the left for the indoor shots.
Because there is no significant narrative within the video, I don't think I need to have the same outfit for each location I film in, however, I don't want a different one for every location because I think that would look a bit messy and there would be no link between all of the shots - so I have chosen to work with just two.
They are both casual and fit the genre of the music because they relate to the style of clothing the artist would wear.

Equipment

Camera: I have decided to use one of my own camera to film on because I think it will just be more convenient. I will have access to it all the time and wouldn't have to hire it from college meaning I am able to shoot whenever I can and when Amelia is available.

Using my camera also makes it easy to be able to take snap shots of anything I might want to photograph to put on my blog.

Other equipment I will use iof needed;
- tripod,
- reflector (for outdoor shots)
- studio lights and projector for shots 29 and 64 - 66,
- lights for shots 21, 23, 37, 44, 54- 56 and 59.

1st filming problem.

The first problem I have encountered is that two of the locations I was hoping to film in have been re-decorated and I am unable to use either of them at the moment.

This weekend (Sunday 25th) I hope to film most of the outdoor shots. I can't film on a Saturday because I work all day until after it gets dark and anytime after college it would be too dark to get the shot I would like from the outdoor locations so I have had a slow start to filming.
Hopefully, once I have got the outdoor shots and cut them together, the two indoor locations I am wanting to film in will be ready and in a similar state to how I wanted them before. Otherwise, I will have to find alternative locations or change the idea of the mise-en-scene that I originally wanted.

health and safety

Hazards
Who is at risk?
Severity of injury
Chance of injury
Control measure
Falling off wall
Actor in video (Amelia)
Serious
Low
Ensure Amelia is aware of the risk and is really careful.
Burns from fire
Amelia
Serious
Low
The fire is within a log burner so it is really unlikely that it will catch Amelia – but ensure we are careful when filming near it.
Fall into river
Amelia
Mild
Low
Whilst walking along the hill near the river, Amelia may slip and fall in so we would need to ensure she is careful and film on a day when the grass will be dry so there is less chance of her slipping.

comparison of the two videos

These are screen shots from the original video and our reconstruction, showing them together proves that most of the shots were accurate and the mise-en-scene is similar.
